I rented a car from Relay Rides, it was a great experience!

If you have a cheap beater:
worth it.
If you have a car you care about:
run.

I have rented cars through them in the past, but I would never rent mine out through it.

ive rented a few times through here. its always been worth it for me. rented a miata, an m5, and a convertible 3 series.
for the renter its a very good deal, for the owner, i think you have to not “care” about your car the way some of us on here do. if you are at all going to be concerned about how its going to drive, then its just going to be too much worry for you, and in my mind, not worth the $100/day.

I wonder if anyone would rent my metro while I'm out of town, not using it. Wonder what the insurance cost would be.

i think insurance is part of the site’s process, buyers can opt for more. if the price is right, people will.

I’d have to look into this. But I’ve been out of town and my car has been sitting at my work parking lot. Hasn’t moved in over a month now.
I was wondering if I’d have to have any additional insurance to cover my ass.
If I was in a bind I’d gladly pay $20/day for a beater.
